Stamp Mag's Origin Story

I'm Imogen, a 25 year-old creative living life in Glasgow. I spent four years at the University of Stirling, graduating in 2021 with a degree in Film & Media. Since then I have worked in retail, had my first industry job as a Content Manager and started my own small business, selling artwork prints and creating one-off commissions.

I feel we all start each year wanting to achieve so much and 2023 was no different, it came as a shock when I lost my job due to the cost of living crisis in January. So suddenly having a lot of time on my hands, I decided I needed something more to keep myself occupied. Hence Stamp Magazine was born! I now run Stamp alongside working in digital advertising and creating art & illustrations for my small business Hija Design.

Stamp is an online magazine and community for creatives, a place to express, share and find other similar minded people. Stamp's main goal is to give creatives, whether that be industry heavyweights or newbies an equal space to tell their tell story, whether that be their creative journey or the hardships they've faced.

I wanted to create something I could put all my creative passion into, something I could call my baby and have it grow with me. So follow me on the journey that is putting your stamp on life...
